[Karachi, Pakistan – 4th December 2025] - Today, Haleon Pakistan Limited announced its Jamshoro Manufacturing Site has been awarded Platinum Certification under the TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) rating system. Administered by Green Business Certification Inc. As part of Haleon’s global business strategy, all owned sites aim to achieve TRUE Zero Waste Certification by 2030. This milestone achieved by Haleon Jamshoro facility reflects the company's commitment to SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing) with an outstanding 99.7% waste diversion rate.

Haleon Pakistan Limited delivered a strategic shift toward circular operations, reducing the facility’s environmental footprint while strengthening resource efficiency across the value chain. Key actions included transitioning to e-leaflets and PET bottles to reduce packaging waste, establishing circular partnerships for off-site composting of food and yard waste, and deploying supplier take-back programs for wooden pallets and plastic drums. These measures contributed to the diversion of 33,586 kg of materials, reduced procurement impacts and minimized disposal needs. The site also advanced SDG-focused innovation through upcycling initiatives that repurposed 283 kg of materials and the reuse of obsolete laptops to avoid e-waste.

“Haleon Pakistan Limited recognizes that by pursuing zero waste they are helping us build a sustainable future for all,” said Peter Templeton, President and CEO of U.S. Green Building Council and GBCI. “Waste impacts all facets of business and changing the way that we use resources will deliver public health benefits, reduce our environmental impact and advance a greener economy.”
